I am Cape Verdean, although I was not born in there I am a fluent speaker of the language, and LOVE my culture. I'm in my third year of college at Wheelock College in Boston,MA. I'm a Human Development Major, Focused in children, families, and cultures, concentrating in Child Life. For those of you who have never heard of the Child Life field,-->Child life specialists are experts in child development, who promote effective coping through play, preparation, education, and self-expression activities. They provide emotional support for families, and encourage optimum development of children facing a broad range of challenging experiences, particularly those related to healthcare and hospitalization...Overall, I am a hard-working, fun, loving person who enjoys the presence of good people, and loves and lives life. My family and friends are my most prized posession. I enjoy art, music, and having a good time.
